Whew, I haven't blogged in a while. Twitter is just too easy.

Anyway, a lot of you know my friend AJ, who along with the folks at TrailBehind has finished a second iPhone app, Gaia GPS. It has everything you'd expect from a typical iPhone GPS app like MotionX GPS, but I think the killer feature is that you can download topo maps for free and access them offline. I was telling AJ he should make this a for-pay feature, because it seems like everywhere else you have to pay extra for each bit of topo map you download, but as usual he was unconvinceable.

So, if you have an iPhone and you sometimes move from place to place, you should check it out. If you have feedback I'm sure andrew.l.johnson would love to hear it (at gmail of course).
